INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF LANGUAGE AND CULTURE (IFLC) 2017

During term two on 14 May 2017 we were all mesmerised by another amazing event held at the iconic Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre located on the southern bank of the Yarra River – the 2017 International Festival of Language and Culture. What a magnificent performance and organisation it was. The diversity of cultures that shone brightly through various colours during that amazing night was clearly a marvel to witness.

The event which was organised collectively by the Australian Intercultural Society (AIS) and our very own Sirius College was the third IFLC held in Australia, last year being held at the Opera House in Sydney. Close to 4000 guests attended the colourful night and everyone was waving their glow sticks and flags, proud of being an international citizen.

We would like to thank the organisers, the performers, teachers and staff of Sirius College that made this special night a sensation to experience.
